AWS DevOps SRE
Technical/Functional Skills AWS, Kafka, Terraform , DevOps SRE Experience Required Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the Platform Engineering AWS environments using modern config-based tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes-based solutions for Application Engineering needs within the AWS Cloud.
• Experience with Kubernetes networking/routing.
• Experience with Kubernetes and EKS add-ons
• Experience with containerization technologies and running containerized workloads
• Support Application partners as they look to use our platform and services.
• Develop and maintain pipeline and automation using Terraform, Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Create and participate in POCs for various Platform Engineering initiatives.
• Architect k8s cloud solutions with a customer focus to support with the Engineering initiatives
• Participate in GitOps, code reviews, PRs, etc..
• Build monitors and alerts to keep uptime high, and incidents low (Splunk, Datadog)
• Develop technical documentation (i.e. Detailed System Design documents, LucidCharts, Visio, etc.)
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure business Engineering infrastructure needs are met
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and document learning lessons at a detailed level
• Take part in an on-call rotation to respond and triage production issues.
