Title: Cloud Devops Engineer
Location: Remote, support Eastern Time Zone.
Type: Contract

Summary:

• Responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of our cloud-based infrastructure and services. The primary focus of this role is designing, implementing, and managing robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify issues and timely incident response. This resource will work closely with the CTP Platform Engineering and Development teams to optimize services and maintain service uptime.
  Write well defined and tested code (IaC - Terraform)
  Build pipeline (CICD experience)
  Experience working with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) in a production environment.
  Experience with cloud services (AWS), cloud engineering, architecture, and software as a service
  Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
  Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
  Solve complex problems around connected vehicle technology for mobility and telematics
  Troubleshoot issues and debug codebases
  dapt new technologies, tools, processes from the organization as needed
  Communicate well with team members and work collaboratively
  Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system
  Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems
  Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems
  Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products
  System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms
  What you will be able to do:
  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field, or a combination of education or equivalent experience.
  Experience in administrating Linux and Windows operating system.
  Experience writing scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and/or Groovy
  Experience in Github
  3 years experience working with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) in a production environment.
  Experience developing and maintaining Cloud CI/CD tools and environments in a large enterprise (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Build automation tools, Bazel, Conan, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions)
  Experience in of merging and branching code using version control tools (git preferred)
  Experience with embedded OS (QNX, Linux)
  Excellent communication skills both vertically and horizontally within the organization related to all aspects of technical leadership written and verbal
