Position - Manufacturing Product Preparation Engineer Professional

Job Responsibilities
•(position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience)Manufacturing Product Preparation Engineer is responsible for the transition of products from product development into full production readiness including:
o Securing that Product Development / Technology teams deliver a product that is verified and aligned with Volvo Production System and Future Factory Concept
o Establishing clear and commonly shared product requirements for one dedicated area of responsibility
o Effectively coordinating and triggering activities of Manufacturing Solution Engineers within production
o Securing that product changes are introduced in the industrial system without disturbance, according to set targets
o Responsible for creating requirements and specifications for production test tools, either directly with development teams or by collaborating with product test engineers
o May develop and define product support plan.
o On Professional level applies practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience). May require the following proficiency:
o Works independently with general supervision.
o Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
o May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
