Role: QA Analyst
Location: West Des Moines, IA (Onsite)
Duration : Long Term 12 Months
Job Description
Technical/Functional Skills
3 years QA experience
Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and techniques, including functional, regression and end-to-end integration testing.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers, BSA's and other onshore team members.
Experience collaborating effectively with co-located development and QA team.
Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze requirements and identify test scenarios and cases effectively.
Domain knowledge - Policy admin systems, Life Insurance and Annuity domain experience would be a great plus. (Optional)
Basic SQL queries
Knowledge and understanding of working with QA tools / Jira, to create and execute test cases and to log/track defects.
Basic knowledge on API testing
Experience working on Agile team and ceremonies.
Testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
Roles & Responsibilities
Part of Scrum team and will be responsible to create, update, execute testcases.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and in a distributed environment(onsite/offshore)
