We're looking for a motivated and energetic Conference Project Manager to join our growing company! This position is responsible for the overall execution of the conference programs for the Clean Energy Group and collaborates with the content, marketing, events and sales teams to support the promotion of the programs. This role is a key contact for conference presenters leading up to and during events, the primary logistical contact for conferences for the product team, and works closely with the ops team on scheduling, room sets, F&B, and A/V. The Conference Project Manager is the primary contact for vendors and partners who host content in conjunction with the conference program, providing them with logistical information and support.

Key Areas of Responsibilities will include:

• Manage the call for proposal process and program development as supported by the Conference Chair
• Lead team member for conference content management tool (SessionBoard)
• Collaborate with external content experts and Editor on programming
• Establish timelines for conference projects and systems to ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain a high level of speaker relationship management through the distribution of invitations and collection of speaker agreements, presentations, session information, etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams on strategy to meet event goals and ensure accurate communication is aligned with marketing and sales initiatives
• Manage the onsite program details, including fielding speaker questions, coordinating room monitors/temps, session evaluations, etc.
• Consultation and coordination with Ops on AV, and room sets
• Collaborate on breakout/layout of session space at venue
• Manages conference budget in collaboration with Event Manager
• Works closely with Marketing and Event Manager on partner contracts
• Lead role in creating event staging guides and signage orders
• Update and maintain the accuracy of conference content in internal databases, websites, and printed materials
• Builds partnerships with industry experts for collaboration on event content

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years on-the-job experience in marketing, communications, analysis, and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies. Experience in project management and a track record of building comprehensive marketing strategies with proven results is a must. We are seeking candidates who can foster innovative and analytical thinking to solve problems collaboratively. Must successfully navigate organizational complexities. Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage and execute marketing plans in support of business and revenue objectives. Ability to multitask, complete tasks on schedule and pay attention to details. Proficiency using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
