Diversified Communications HQ is Hiring a Sales Coordinator Near Portland, ME

Are you passionate about driving sales success and building meaningful client relationships? As a Sales Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our event and e-learning sales initiatives!

The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the event attendee, e-learning membership, and certification sales team, ensuring the timely execution of account-based sales initiatives for the ASAP portfolio (ASAP, EA Ignite, and APC). This position acts as a liaison between ASAP and central teams, focusing on customer service, collaboration, and managing key sales processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. 

This role will assist account managers with proposals from initial point of sale through contracting. Duties include relationship management support, proposal writing, sponsored event coordination, sales activity coordination, sales budget tracking, and general team support. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment while being a motivated self-starter. This person enjoys work that involves external customer communications with a problem-solving mindset. 

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the attendee and e-learning membership sales team with onboarding large deals, new key accounts, and tasks related to onsite corporate groups and partner events. 
  • Build lead lists for the sales team in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, identifying opportunities or potential key contacts. 
  • Route inbound leads and customer inquiries to the appropriate salesperson or internal resources, focusing on customer service.
  • Monitor sales inboxes and use your strong written communication skills in an email-intensive environment. 
  • Serve as a contact for customers and account managers to facilitate customer requests for information and proposals. 
  • Generate client proposals, budgets and cover letters as requested. 
  • Provide regular and timely sales activity and key account revenue reports to team members. 
  • Manage Salesforce reporting and dashboards, as well as Workfront tickets, to support an ABS structure. 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities. 
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to engage and collaborate with people across various roles and diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent multi-tasking capabilities, maintaining effectiveness and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high quality and accuracy in all tasks. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft 365, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and collaboration tools including Zoom, Teams, Calendly, etc.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce, PowerBi, Canva, and ZoomInfo is a plus. 
  • Strong proficiency in phone communications, data management, customer service, multi-tasking, project management, and the ability perform within a high-energy, fast-paced team. 

Work Environment: Diversified Communications offers the flexibility to work remotely and enjoy a hybrid schedule, working in the office 2 days per week. While this position reports into our office located in Portland, Maine, we are open to considering fully remote applicants.

Travel: Domestic travel is required at least 3 times per year.
