Position Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team. As a full-time Inside Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their appliance needs, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. Also part of the role will be managing key accounts with builders, remodelers, and designers, and assuring that their needs are being met in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their appliance needs
• Provide expert advice and product knowledge to customers
• Assist customers in selecting the right appliances to fit their requirements and budget
• Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively
• Putting together estimates for individual customer orders, single-family builders, and occasionally larger multi-family projects
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment and keep point-of-purchase materials updated
• Follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction and promote additional products and services
• Maintaining price sheets and assisting with keeping up a relevant and well represented show floor
• Assist Operations with scheduling product deliveries, installations, and service calls
• Communicate needs effectively with other team and project members to assure that delivery requirements are feasible to being met
• Working with contractors and designers to assure that selected appliances will meet the needs of the overall project requirements
• On-going product training to stay on top of industry and specific manufacturer changes

Required Skills and Responsibilities

Education

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred

Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Previous appliance sales experience with a track record of success
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify and incorporate new business leads
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once in an organized manner
• Accurate order entry and the ability to understand product specs and project details
• Experience with Microsoft Office software applications (e.g. Word, Excel)
• Motivated to meet deadlines and achieve goals
• Able to collaborate and demonstrate a high degree of teamwork

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
