JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment or labor to determine project feasibility.
• Supervise the construction of roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges and water supply and sewage systems.
• Review the cost effectiveness, timing, reliability and safety of certain design models to determine project feasibility and approve final design implementation plan.
• Analyze and evaluate impact of project to government regulations and potential environmental hazards.
• Manage and direct staff members and the construction, operations, or maintenance activities at project site.
• Work on supporting Critical Suppliers, NPI build parts development, fit up, and process improvement work.
• Collaborate with Category, Agile teams and facility as needed to ensure parts arrive with good quality and on time.
• Create and update project plans and reports as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial or related field.
• 10 years’ experience in USA supplier collaboration, sourcing for mining products.
• APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Experience in supplier performance, collaboration and agile sourced purchasing.
• Product knowledge of mining trucks.
• Knowledge of light fabs category parts and sourcing.
• Experience in cost modeling, supply chain planning, supplier audits for Assembly, Test and Paint.
• Knowledge of engineering technology, building and construction and public safety and security.
• Planning of process automation for suppliers.
• Knowledge of excel, advanced excel, PPT, Word.
• Experience with process improvement, layouts, flow, PPAP, and Advanced Manufacturing process.
• Good understanding of procurement process.
• Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures, especially those with supplier impact.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Very good written and verbal communication.
• Very good negotiation skills and able to respond in short turnaround times.
• Able to work with multiple stake holders in a matrix team structure.
• Solid decision-making skills and critical thinker.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus.
