Summary

Under the supervision of the Production Manager, the Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to soldering of cables, wires, and circuit boards. Experience and Skills:

Requirements

• The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience and/or tenure in Electro-Mechanical assembly and the ability to perform a wide variety of Electronic or Electro-Mechanical assembly operations.
• Ability to read and comprehend detailed drawings, schematics, diagrams, technical orders, and work instructions to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
• Must possess above average soldering, de-soldering, and rework skills and have familiarity with IPC or military standards. Current J-STD-001 certification or experience is a plus.
• Must be proficient with working on tasks under stereo microscopes.
• Knowledge of electrical and hand tools including electric screwdrivers, heat guns, wire cutter/stripper machine, and torque driver.
• Have the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment across all levels of the organization.
• Availability to work overtime hours as needed.
• Proficient with use of ERP systems and with MS Windows PCs and Microsoft® Office applications.
