What part will you play?The Communication Assistant I will support a variety of Public Affairs and other business activities and initiatives utilizing strong writing, internal communications, community relations, interpersonal, and team interaction skills. This role will perform administrative duties to support the team, including managing calendars. What will you be doing? Develop Pack Studios Customer/Visitor Experience Develop process to engage customers in the Pack Studios experience from onset of visit scheduling.Develop introduction to Pack Studios brochure or 1-pager for TS&D use with customersEnsure all tours are coordinated and prepared including lunch as needed Create process for follow up after customer visit Track metrics on customer/visitor frequency, impact and overall experience/effectivenessIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement Dynamic Team SupportSupport team of over 40 scientists, engineers and technicians Direct support of two leaders including calendar management and meeting organization Develop internal communications including content and video for goals, launch of new capabilities or critical efforts within NAA PSP&H teamProvide budget tracking, invoicing and payment supportDocumentation & Web content Update and implement communication tools such a PowerPoints or one pagers highlighting capabilities and technologies within lab team or within NAA PSP&H TS&D. Create/Maintain internal SharePoint for TS&D team resourcesReview/update Site external web contentSafety Center Management Support Safety Action Committee through team meetings, action item tracking, and safety compliance tracking and reportingSupport safety meeting content creation and attendance tracking for complianceCreate/Maintain internal SharePoint for Safety Team documentation.Other duties as assigned What do we require from you?Required Qualifications of the Communication Assistant I:Possesses strong writing, internal communications, community relations, interpersonal, and team interaction skillsMinium associates degree and experience in digital or mass communications/media
