Purpose: The Licensed Mental Health Professional provides the leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services programs offered at the facility; ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility’s performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the overall administrative process and management systems for all clinical services offered at the facility, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of clinical treatment programs.
Qualifications:Must be a graduate of an accredited institution with a Master’s Degree in mental health-related field and is licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana by the applicable professional board of examiners. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or (LPC) preferred. Minimum of five (5) years direct clinical practice; three (3) years prior satisfactory supervisory and administrative experience is desirable but not required.
General Responsibilities: The Licensed Mental Health Professional is responsible for clinical services and supervision of all licensed and non-licensed staff, including, but not limited to:
Must pass a State Background Check and Drug Screening.
