Job Summary:
As a Principal Product Manager, Supply Strategy & Growth, you'll be responsible for building and executing on a strategy to grow DMGs supply depth and product offering. In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for ensuring we have the right volume, type, and quantity of suppliers in our marketplace to support growth. In this hands-on, highly visible product leadership role, you'll be equally adept at getting the right data and inputs to identify opportunties, working closely with engineering and business counterparts, and finding scalable ways to recruit suppliers.
As the ideal candidate, you enjoy working on challenging problems and are not afraid to jump in and drive those ideas to their eventual conclusion. You are comfortable in a GM- or growth- style product role that will require you to wear many hats and drive toward outcomes. You have a strong point-of-view on product direction, go to market strategy, and technology - and have had demonstrable successes in the past. You like to take calculated risks and feel accountable for the outcome. You are just as comfortable talking to a technician on the field as you are presenting to company leadership.You are deeply curious and data-driven. You enjoy working with teams, are always looking to up level their capabilities, and care deeply about their well- being.
What You'll Do:
  • Build and execute on a supply strategy for DMG - including building a framework for measuring supply depth and health, identifying and filling key supply gaps, driving acquisition at scale, identifying partnerships or integration opportunities, and developing a multi-year roadmap.
  • Create structure to solve for ambiguous problems: decide whether a problem should be solved, manage and prioritize features, and estimate and define throughout for development tasks.
  • Drive data-driven decisions backed up by deep understanding of business outcomes and helping to define product usage and quality.
  • Execute projects that cut across functions - Sales, Operations, Support, Marketing.
  • Collect, organize and analyze quantitative and qualitative product data that enables the entire organization to make the most of their insights.
  • Keenly follow customer perception and feedback to help define the product roadmap.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to track development and set correct expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive top company priority user betas, launches, and global rollouts (in partnership with product marketing, user operations, account management, product training, and others).
  • Own product launch readiness to ensure that user-facing teams are ready with the information and processes required to support new products.
  • Collect, quantify and prioritize product-related challenges to be considered by product and engineering in future development. Up level the understanding of how the product is being used in the real world.
  • Develop novel processes and tools, share your leadership on how to run efficient betas and launches at DMG.
  • Identify and actively build connections with relevant subject matter experts across the company to surface insights - get them excited about what your team is building, and pave the way for smoother future rollouts.
What You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Masters degree is perferred.
  • 7 years of product management experience, with a strong focus on supply or growth.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring product teams focused on solutions, driving successful product launches, and delivering customer-focused solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across departments to achieve shared objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data specific to products to inform strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills across many audiences - from external suppliers to engineering and product peers to company leadership.
  • Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
