Dixline Corporation is looking for qualified applicants to fill a full-time WWT/Electroplating Operator position on 2nd shift.
Hours: 2:30pm-1:00am (M-Th), overtime as needed
Reports to: Electroplating/Dry Finish Manager
Essential Qualifications:
· High School Diploma/GED
· U.S Citizen
· Detail-oriented
· Excellent oral & written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline, or equivalent work/practical experience in wastewater treatment and/or factory production environments
· Ability to obtain Class K Wastewater Operators’ licensing
Key Job Duties:
· Monitor & perform essential Wastewater Treatment functions in the electroplating area
o Clean, calibrate, and audit pH/ORP sensor probes
o Perform batch treatments according to SOPs
o Monitor and maintain filter press function
o Operate and perform necessary maintenance to evaporator
o Monitor & log conductivity values of key rinses
o Perform chemical make-up/make-down according to SOP
· Monitor & maintain disc filtration function
· Calibrate pH probes & analyze/record pH of electroplating baths
o Suggest alterations as needed
· Monitor & regulate temperature of electroplating baths
· Direct/Advise Racker/Unracker in function of electroplating line
· Complete daily worksheet & record data
· Perform routine color checks & quality examinations/testing of finished parts
· Understand & support daily electroplating production goals
· Troubleshooting support for proper electroplating line function
· Other tasks as assigned to support overall function of electroplating department & wastewater treatment system
