Manager In Training is responsible for providing superior customer service, conducting merchandise sale transactions, and contributing to a positive store environment. Assist Store Manager in the supervision and overall management of a store. Provide direction to sales associates in the absence of the Store Manager.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Meet personal sales goals. Should contribute significantly to meeting the overall store sales to goal results.
Maintain a strong focus on quality customer service in the store. Be friendly and helpful and ensure associates greet, approach and re-approach the customer, and ultimately close the sale. Minimize external shrink through excellent customer service. Ensure that all customer areas are kept clean and that merchandise is attractively presented to the customer.
