DLM Professional is Hiring an Epic Willow Analyst Near New York, NY
The Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst plays a critical role in our healthcare organization by ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of the Epic Willow Inpatient system with other medication dispensing systems such as Pyxis and Omnicell. This position requires a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and the ability to tailor our systems to meet the unique needs of our organization. Key Responsibilities
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Epic Willow Inpatient, FDB, or similar systems, including integration with medication dispensing systems.
Facilitate regular communication with vendors, business representatives, subject matter experts, and end users to customize the system for organizational needs.
Conduct detailed analysis of workflows, data collection, report specifications, and technical issues related to hardware, software, and integrations.
Develop, document, and implement internal procedures for application use; design, build, test, install, and maintain solutions. - Liaise with Application Managers and other stakeholders to document and analyze business operations and workflow.
Provide timely completion of tasks with accurate documentation and collaborate effectively with IT teams.
Offer on-call support on a rotating basis, troubleshoot user issues, and review/test system updates or enhancements.
Support the training team with information on new functionalities and system changes; may perform training sessions as needed.
Ensure effective communication across all teams impacted by IT tasks and projects.
Participate in quality assurance, change management, disaster recovery planning, and report creation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, PharmD preferred.
Epic Willow Inpatient certification.
Preferred: Experience with the First Databank (FDB) Pharmacy database and third-party integrations.
Desired: Pharmacy experience or clinical background (PharmD), med load, and charge error resolution experience, decision support experience. - Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Proficient in server and endpoint management, as well as desktop tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
At least 3 years of experience with Epic Willow Inpatient workflow, build, and reporting.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands This position may require a flexible work schedule, including night and weekend support during major implementations or system support efforts, and participation in an on-call rotation. Regular schedule is 9AM- 5PM Monday through Friday with two hybrid days.
