Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:The Business Development Associate position will be responsible for developing our Airport/Southside territory. Business Development Associate position must actively identify and generate clients using strategies geared towards clients in our target markets. Maintain good working relationships with current clients and develop new business as well. Client acquisition and increase client retention to promote new sales and connections through referrals and references. Develop new and existing referral sources from which successful referential relationships can be gained. Meet with different company teams and establish goals and strategies, business relationships, and developing proposals for new engagements.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Follow up with appointments set by our in-house marketing campaigns.
- Identify and develop new and existing referral sources to develop successful referring relationships.
- Cold calling and site visits to new prospective clients
- Achieve revenue goals set by management.
- Maintain good working relationships with existing clients previously to enhance client retention and new sales through referrals and references.
- Attend networking events, conferences & seminars to engage new opportunities
- Good phone etiquette and internet savvy
- A passion for helping Business Owners and Entrepreneurs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and strong work ethic
- High personal integrity and character
- Ability to use Email, Pipedrive CRM, Microsoft Excel, and other internal systems
- Critical thinking ability
- Effective decision maker
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, finance, or any related field of study.
- 2-5 years of sales experience
