DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to join us.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly skilled technical writer to join our team and provide comprehensive and compelling technical documentation. The Sr. Technical Writer is responsible for developing and contributing to technical documents, solution summaries, instruction manuals, assessments, etc. to deliver effective, professional and comprehensive documents and proposals to business decision makers.

Responsibilities Include:

Compile technical subject matter and organize information from multiple sources (client, end user, technical team members) and express technical information in written format that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers.
• Draft, edit and refine Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Salesforce and Software Development technical concepts
• Develop outlines and drafts for review and approval by technical specialists and management ensuring that final documents meet applicable contract requirements and government regulations.
• Create compelling White Papers, assessments, solution recommendations, etc.
• A hands-on approach to understanding the technology and products being documented, with a keen ability to learn new technologies quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation standards that are measurable across the technical writing team, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Comply with contractual, government, and company style guides, compliance requirements and professional standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce experience
• Experience creating wireframes
• UI/UX, HCD (Human Centered Design) Experience
• Demonstrated experience with process documentation.
• Prior experience with supporting complex projects.

Education and Years of Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7-10 years technical writing experience preferably in technology

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

• Demonstrated technical writing experience for software products
• Ability to pay attention and capture detailed content, and confirm technical material for consistency and accuracy
• Confirm technical material for consistency and accuracy
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Experience with MS Office Suite and Visio
• Ability to obtain public trust clearance
• US citizenship, due to contract requirement
