The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing sales activities with key accounts within designated territories.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build, lead, guide and mentor sales team to successfully meet company objectives.
- Set and achieve sales goals by establishing and communicating business strategies and targets.
- Cultivate customer relationships, deliver effective proposals and negotiate agreements to capture profitable new business.
- Successfully negotiate challenging and/or urgent business issues through interaction with leadership team both internally and externally.
- Create and maintain organizational budget.
- Oversee professional management of employees, including recruitment, training and performance management.
- Implement and managing all MTS manufacturing locations in building customer and employee relations.
- Maximize DNOW’s ROOA, develop and lead of employees, provide customer service excellence.
- Provide and safe work environment with zero accident goals.
- Communicate effectively within the Region and Corporate; operations, support groups and management on activity, sales, opportunities and market information.
- Handles special projects, as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management preferred.
- 5 years’ management experience in related field
- Proven track record of managing accounts with revenue growth
- 50% Travel is required
- Very strong supervisory skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ERP systems
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external partners.
- Current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
