Job Summary:ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a PRN experienced acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Job Summary:ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a PRN experienced acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Qualified Candidates:
- Acute care certification and ICU experience required
- APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation
- Ability to work PRN, 4-6 shifts per month
- Primarily Night Shift- 10 mo/year, Day Shift 2 mo/year
- 12-hour shifts covering a 22-bed medical/surgical ICU
- 1 MD and 1 APP (7am to 7pm); 1 APP with MD on call for support (7 pm to 7 am)
- Clinical Teaching with Residents/Fellows
- Ability to cover at sister facility, Mtn View if needed
- Appropriate staffing models and flexible scheduling
- Occurrence based malpractice Insurance
- Expert practice management including privileging, provider enrollment, and billing and collections
- ICC Healthcare employees over 500 providers in 50 programs with 6-8 new programs opening each year

- The success of the ICC intensivist program relies on strong team building strategies within the ICU, the hardwiring of best practice evidence base protocols and streamlining the delivery of hospital wide critical care services.

- Located in the southwest and consistently rated for the high patient and physician satisfaction, the 265-bed facility is an Accredited Chest Pain Center, Certified Primary Stroke Center, and is certified by The Joint Commission for three orthopedic certifications including; Hip and Knee Replacement Program and Hip Fracture Program.
- Full-service ER Department including a separate 24/7 Free-Standing ER facility, ER at The Lakes
- Surgical services department offering robotic and minimally invasive procedures for orthopedics and spine, general surgery, gynecology, and gastroenterology
- Comprehensive orthopedic services including a specialized unit for inpatient care
- Behavioral health services including an 80-bed facility, The Pavilion offering inpatient and outpatient services
- Women’s Services including high-risk OB and a newly remodeled unit.
- Full-service oncology unit with chemo certified nurse
