**Overview:**

Join our team as a Grooming Assistant and be an integral part of our dog grooming school. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about animal care and grooming to support our grooming team in providing top-notch services to our furry clients.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist grooming students and Instructors with bathing, drying, and brushing dogs of various breeds.

- Handle dogs with care and ensure their safety and well-being throughout the grooming process.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming tools, equipment, and work areas.

- Provide support in handling administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and checking clients in and out.

- Collaborate with the grooming school team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.

- Learn and adhere to grooming protocols and standards to deliver high-quality grooming services.

**Experience:**

- Previous experience in a veterinary setting, kennel, or pet grooming environment is preferred.

- Knowledge of dog handling, basic grooming techniques, and animal care practices.

- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners.

- Ability to lift heavy objects, including larger dogs weighing up to 60lbs.

- Familiarity with grooming terminology or training as a bather is a plus.
