**What a Maintenance Technician will do:*

• Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine necessary repairs
• Plan repairs according to work orders and preventative/predictive maintenance schedules
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, utility, and facility systems
• Perform maintenance on electrical and PLC/Control systems
• Inspect facilities and grounds to identify and repair
• Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
• Basic maintenance and operation of HVAC systems
• Proper use of Lock-Out-Tag-Out and all safety procedures
• Knowledge of general carpentry and power tools

*What you need to be a Maintenance Technician:*

• 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing/production facility
• Must hold a Special Engineer class Boiler License or willingness to obtain
• Electrical/PLC/Controls knowledge and experience
• Willingness to obtain an Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration certificate.
• Ability to read and understand manuals, drawings, and P&ID Documents
• Ability to follow proper safety procedures and requirements
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations
• Forklift certification and experience or willingness to obtain
