We are seeking candidates for Potato Inspector roles on the 3rd shift. Hours for this position are from 11 : 00pm-7 : 00am, Monday through Friday.

What you’ll do as a Potato Inspector :

• Inspect products for any defects and remove the defects from the process
• Identify different types of raw potatoes, as well as detecting rot and bruises
• Remove foreign material from the process
• Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained
• Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety

What you need to be a Potato Inspector :

• Ability to effectively communicate in basic English (both verbal and written)
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations
