We are seeking candidates for Quality Assurance Technician roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities ranges between $16.
00-$20.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Learn more below!
What you will do as a Quality Assurance Technician :
- Responsible for the official release of all ingredients and finished goods
- Micro duties which include plating, reading, and interpreting results against known specifications
- Conduct various micro-testing on powders, liquids, swabs, filters, and air samples
- Inspect equipment before production startup and take ATP and micro swabs to validate results
- Composite powder samples, running various chemical, micro, and physical analytical tests
- Test final products by customer specifications which vary per product
- Perform tests such as Standard Plate count, Coliform, yeast and mold, viscosities, particle size, bulk density, etc.
- Prepare chemical solutions according to the standard formula
- Perform various QC audits throughout the facility
What you need to be a Quality Assurance Technician :
- High school diploma or GED; or 1 months of related experience
- Basic keyboard skills are helpful
- Knowledge and understanding of basic math skills including weight calculations, averages, and percentages.
- Ability to read and write in English
