We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front of House Team Member to join our team. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your role will involve various duties such as taking orders, handling cash transactions, prepare take-out orders, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions about the menu
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
