Done Right HVAC, RI is actively seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician to join our service and install team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for processing and completing work orders, performing service on HVAC systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing equipment maintenance. You may also be required to advise on equipment upgrades and available service contracts. As an installer, you will be responsible for installing new systems of various sizes in commercial and residential settings. To ensure success as a HVAC Service Technician/Installer, you should have advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, good mechanical skills, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Ultimately, a top-class service technician expertly repairs and maintains cooling and heating equipment for a client with the least amount of downtime.

Our Service Technicians work a full-time, Monday-to-Friday schedule with overtime, on-call, and weekends only when necessary . This Service Technician/Installer position comes with a competitive wage of $40-$43/hour , depending on experience. SERVICE/INSTALL TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processing and completing work orders.
• Provide customer service to clients and explain their equipment needs.
• Ordering equipment supplies, repair modules, and sundries for the order.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Observing and testing HVAC systems.
• Troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Maintaining stock levels.
• Replacing coils, compressors, and worn-out motors.
• Informing clients of repair costs and alternate cooling options.
• Install new A/C systems for our residential and commercial customers

SERVICE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 Years of HVAC Service Technician Experience
• Braising and soldering skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
• Current HVAC License
• EPA Certifications
