Overview: The Daytime Donut Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the donut shop during daytime hours. This role includes managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the shop meets all safety and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:
   • Open the shop each morning, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and the shop is ready for customers.
   • Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
   • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
   • Handle any operational issues that arise promptly and effectively.

2. Staff Management:

o Supervise staff members.

o Schedule staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.

o Foster a positive and motivating work environment.

3. Customer Service:

o Greet and assist customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

o Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns.

o Implement customer service policies and procedures.

4. Financial Management:

o Monitor sales and manage the shop’s budget.

o Prepare daily financial reports.

o Handle cash and electronic transactions, ensuring accuracy and security.

5. Maintenance and Cleanliness:

o Ensure the shop is clean and well-maintained at all times.

o Oversee regular cleaning schedules and perform spot checks.

o Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in business management or hospitality is a plus.
• Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the food service industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations effectively.
• Knowledge of inventory management and budgeting.
• Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant software.
• Basic knowledge of marketing and social media.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
