Accounts Receivable Clerk / Collections

Door Engineering Corporation is seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable Clerk with prior experience to join our team in Norfolk, VA.

Door Engineering Corporation is a privately held, Employee owned and operated company that provides industrial, commercial, and specialty supplies to the construction industry. We are looking for a talented, detail oriented individual who is eager to learn. The position will primarily be responsible for assisting our accounting team with daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day accounting functions including preparation of Pay Apps and Lien Waivers.
• Assist with Collection of past due accounts by calling and emailing customers.
• Assist with entering AR invoices into accounting software. Training provided on our software (Comsense an ERP system).
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Previous experience in construction accounting required. Experience with Comsense or ERP system is a plus but not required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Adode Acrobat. Experience with reconciling Pay Apps to contracts is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
