About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technology Expense Management Analyst to join our IT Asset Management team. The Technology Expense Management Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, tracking, and managing the company's technology expenses. This role involves working closely with IT, Finance, and other departments to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of technology costs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization.

• Analyze technology-related expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare detailed reports on technology spending and present findings to management
• Monitor and track technology expense trends to ensure alignment with budgetary goals
• Create and maintain forecasts for technology expenses based on historical data and upcoming projects
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of technology expense management
• Develop and maintain standardized procedures for tracking and reporting technology expenses
• Assist in the implementation of technology expense management software and tools
• Identify key metrics and provide dashboarding and reporting to stakeholders
• Support ITAM team in procuring assets, updating inventory levels, managing relationships with vendors, reviewing contracts, SOWs and purchase agreements
• Work with the Procurement, Accounts Payable and Finance teams to address any financial discrepancies
• Assist team with customer tickets/requests as needed and various other ITAM related projects 

We're excited about you because...

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, expense management, or a related role, preferably in a technology-focused environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial modeling and forecasting
• Familiarity with technology expense management software and tools is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced customer service and stakeholder management skills
• Detail oriented, problem solver & resourceful 

Preferred:

• Experience with vendor contract negotiations and management
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry

Compensation

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
