About the RoleWe're hiring an Associate Manager, Fresh Vendor Management who will own the national sourcing strategy for a portfolio of fresh vendors. You will work with cross-functional partners to identify and create opportunities to optimize our direct-vendor sourcing model and develop mechanisms to help evolve our vendor relationships. The Associate Manager, Fresh Vendor Management will also own goal development and strategies for successful vendor performance.
You will report into Head of Fresh, Speciality, and Natural Vendor Management within the Supply Chain org of the DashMart team. This is a hybrid, flexible role with the ability to work at home or at any DoorDash Corporate Office.

  • Build programmatic solutions to achieve sourcing efficiencies and develop the playbook for scaled fresh vendor management.
  • Comfortably navigate ambiguous data and problems in a fast-paced environment, and with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Work hands-on with vendors to improve business inputs, identify defects, and enhance our customer's shopping experience.
  • Manage negotiations and impact our financial success.
  • Develop programs and mechanisms to evolve our vendor relationships and customer experience.
  • Be a strategic thought leader in establishing processes for a growing business.

  • You have 5 years of experience. You've succeeded in externally-facing roles in a field such as merchandising, vendor/account management, data analytics, commerce, or consulting.
  • You love to own and drive a strategy. You take ownership with a strong bias for action, and you always have a back-up plan.
  • You are comfortable navigating complex, large, and/or ambiguous data sets, and are confident using Excel, have experience with SQL, and let data guide your decisions.
  • You love to learn, shape, and influence across a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • You gain trust and support of external partners and your communication is clear and effective.
CompensationThe location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.

Colorado Pay Range:
$97,200—$145,800 USD
California Pay Range:
$102,600—$162,000 USD
New York Pay Range:
$108,000—$162,000 USD
Washington Pay Range:
$102,600—$154,000 USD
