Job Duties: Lead all aspects of design for one merchant product area, including vision, strategy, and execution. Collaborate with diverse team of product managers, developers, researchers, content strategists, and more, to build outstanding experiences that make running a delivery business simple and easy. Own user experience end-to-end, including contributing to product strategy, running design sprints, and creating visions. Work with product managers, engineers, and other disciplines to build and ship designs. Create and refine flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals. Communicate design work and support for design decisions across company. Provide direct and impactful feedback to other designers on the team, helping designers on adjacent product teams grow their skills. Participate in any company-wide training programs (WeDash, etc.) Telecommuting Permitted.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Computer Design or closely related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in the field of product design OR Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Computer Design or closely related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in the field of product design.
Special Skills:
Producing low-fidelity to high-fidelity interaction design products or design projects using Figma, Principle, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent design tooling software
Knowledge of adjacent technologies such as HTML and CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, or similar technologies
Knowledge of type, hierarchy, color, composition, contrast, and other graphic design fundamentals
End-to-end iterative design process, from the start of a project to completion
Experience with collecting research insights and forming strategic point of view that maps to business goals and success metrics
