Join our passionate team at Dop Antiques! Established in 2000, we are a well-regarded European antique furniture store located in New Orleans. We are seeking a dedicated Sales Manager to lead our sales team and continue our tradition of excellence in customer service and unique antique offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where every day offers a journey through history.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to increase store profitability.
  • Manage daily store operations, including staffing, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Train new and existing staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and handle customer service issues professionally.
  • Collaborate with other managers and the owner to align strategies and optimize store performance.
  • Analyze market trends and adapt strategies to meet changing customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in furniture or luxury goods.
  • Passion for antiques and a deep understanding of the industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field preferred.
