Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in the examination and treatment of animals, including restraining animals during procedures, sample collection, and administering medication.
• Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, such as blood tests and urinalysis.
• Prepare animals and operating rooms for surgery, ensuring that all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
• Monitor the condition of patients, recognize any changes in behavior, and effectively communicate these to the veterinarian.
• Provide routine post-operative monitoring and care.
• Maintain clean and organized examination rooms and treatment areas.
• Perform front desk duties as necessary, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
