Dorf Ketal Chemicals - North America is Hiring a Regional Manager Near Midland, TX

JOB TITLE: Regional Manager
DEPARTMENT: Sales
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales
SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing sales contracts and key customer relationships, defining service levels, advising on pricing strategies, and driving sales development within the region. Ensures the execution of the commercial strategy, working closely with the regional operations team to guarantee the fulfillment of agreed service levels. Provides inputs and forecasts for regional operations activities, including demand, supply, and inventory planning.
Duties And ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Set sales targets and objectives for the region and ensure they are met or exceeded.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
People Management
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to sales team members.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction.
  • Support and assist in implementing and maintaining certified management systems ascribed to DK such as ISO 9001. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of risks and opportunities associated with their work. Maintain an understanding of the Quality policy and how they personally contribute to meeting DK objectives and goals
  • Support and assist in implementing and maintaining the RCMS program. Identify training needs of personnel. Promote awareness of the RCMS guiding principles and Dorf Ketal's HSSE policy, objectives and goals in addition to how they can contribute to them.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Address client needs and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close high-value sales deals.
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and projects.
  • Participate in industry events and networking activities to expand the company’s presence.
Sales Operations
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and key metrics.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with other departments to support sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with regional managers in other areas to share best practices and strategies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This job will have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Chemistry, or Engineering, MBA Preferred
  • 10 years of experience in the oil industry with at least 3 years of sales management experience
