dormakaba Americas is Hiring a Field Service Technician Near Wichita, KS
HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $20/hr - $24/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $3,000 Sign-on Bonus (eligible for candidates with a current AAADM certification) What You Will Do
- Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings
- Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner
- Valid current driver’s license
- Mechanical knowledge, 3 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Physical requirements including: ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead
- Electrical license or knowledge of basic electronics and electrical theory, principles of microprocessor-controlled equipment and multi-meter instruments
- 2 years experience as an automatic door installer or service technician AAADM certification
