Position Overviewdormakaba is seeking a first shift (6AM – 2:30PM) Painter/Powdercoat Operator based in Indianapolis, IN. The Painter/Powdercoat Operator utilizes equipment to apply paint or powder to our products, ensuring quality specifications are met.
HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $19/hr. - $20/hr. plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview) What You Will Do
- Operate the coating conveyor system
- Verify all machine fluid levels are checked and maintained at appropriate levels
- Verify order dates for parts to be coated
- Rack and unpack parts for orders after coating process and verify quality of coating
- Maintain records of coating process
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and be able to stand for long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing or related field
