Dormakaba Group is Hiring an Internal Communications Specialist Near Indianapolis, IN

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist based in Indianapolis, IN. This position is a hybrid role. The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for the creation and delivery of internal communications and campaigns that will help strengthen dormakaba’s culture and inform and inspire North American team members. This individual will work directly with cross-functional partners to drive and support corporate communications initiatives, HR/benefits campaigns, and employee events.

HIRING RANGE: Base Salary $55,000 - $60,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Create and distribute internal content across various digital and print mediums
  • Manage and maintain intranet and Yammer content for the Americas, ensuring content is timely, appealing, and informative
  • Support the planning and execution of company events, including coordination and development of communications such as invitations, flyers, sign-up forms, posters, etc.
  • Support communications planning and implementation for community outreach events/employee volunteerism events
  • Create and manage editorial calendar, including the process/workflow for managing requests from select internal stakeholders. Recommend changes for greater efficiencies

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • 2 years’ experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or relevant field of study

WHAT WE PREFER

  • Proficiency in MS Office products, SharePoint experience
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe, Campaign Monitor, Monday.com (or similar software)
  • Ability to code HTML emails or experience with Pardot
