dormakaba is Hiring a Regional Sales Representative Near Baltimore, MD

dormakaba is seeking a Sales Representative for our Maryland territory! This individual is responsible for the overall sales and profitability in the territory by developing a sales strategy to drive profit growth, maximize satisfaction of customers, and develop a consistent line of repeat business that delivers opportunities for expanded growth.

***This position does not require in-office, you will cover the state of Maryland*

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Plus a generous Sales Incentive Compensation. This position includes a competitive benefits package.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop a territory plan and account plans to manage the assigned territory.
  • Work closely with other sales staff by attending customer meetings on site and via phone.
  • Collaborate with dormakaba employees to capture planned maintenance agreements after new product installations.
  • Retain records of sales activities.
  • Communicate with local branch management regarding sales forecasting.
  • Maintain current technical product-related knowledge and stay abreast of industry/territory trends.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

  • High school diploma
  • Territory travel as required (including training and business meetings)
  • 2 years of sales experience

WHAT WE PREFER

  • Associate, Bachelor, or Technical degree
  • 5 years of industry experience/automatic door knowledge
  • Construction materials experience selling to glass houses/glazers or general contractors.
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce)
