Summary
Dorman Preschool Center is a 501c3 nonprofit organization who has been serving children with all abilities for 60 years. We are a nature and play based early development center who is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team and fall just as in love with our mission and philosophy as we are! The majority of our day is spent in our natural outdoor classroom as long as weather permits. We are seeking a part time infant teacher for our infant classroom. This position is part time(25-30 Hours a week, 5-6 Hours a day) Monday through Friday. Duties
-Changing diapers
-feeding
-General house keeping
-providing a safe and healthy environment
-helping in other rooms when needed
-building relationships with families for best needs of the child
Requirements
-Highschool diploma or equivalent
-Must be able to pass a background check
-Reliable transportation
-Open to learning about emergent curriculum
-Experience working with young children (preferred)
-Ability to work well with others
-Able to lift up to 50 pounds
-Able to attend required trainings
-Great communication skills
-Compliance with licensing requirement for TB testing
-Willing to fulfil their responsibilities in accordance with the center's philosophy and mission
-Willing to work with children of all needs
-Eager to be a lifelong learner and a team player
-Must be able to spend time outdoors
