Customer Support Specialist:
The Customer Support Specialist acts as the communication link between the customer and the field service engineer by accepting and dispatching service calls.
Responsibilities:
  • Communicates with customers:
  • Scheduling services
  • Providing contract status information.
  • Providing updates as needed.
  • Takes International and Dornier Direct parts orders.
  • Maintains Database:
  • Verify price of parts and availability in database.
  • Place orders for both the customers and field service engineers.
  • Places service orders in the database to contact the engineer.
  • Create and maintain customer files.
  • Support the Field Service Engineers:
  • Check shipping status of parts.
  • Tracking timecards and service reports.
  • Receiving and logging expense reports.
  • Perform audits on service orders ensuring engineers have filled in all necessary information.
  • Assisting in closing service calls.
Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required. Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience:
Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
  • Ability to Type 40 words per minute.
  • Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.
Physical Demands:
  • Occasionally deal with high stress situations
  • Sitting for long periods of time.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
