About You

  • You are a skilled agency account leader with at least 10 years of experience in a related agency or marketing environment.
  • You have experience managing national and regional campaigns that include multiple touchpoints.
  • You can strategize and lead the client in developing strategic objectives and plans, as well as tactical plans.
  • You know how to guide strategy on account and program levels.
  • You have a proven track record in advertising/marketing and building/retaining client business.
  • You are an expert in the art of building long-lasting client relationships.
  • You have experience in leveraging advertising strategies and techniques to develop multi-channel programs to deliver against client objectives.
  • You’re a lifelong learner who enjoys keeping pace with rapid industry changes.
  • You can meet high standards for quality and accuracy, as well as assist a team in achieving the same.
  • You are a leader with strong initiative who can be successful in a fast-paced environment to help lead and build the engagements we need to succeed.

About the Job

  • You’ll serve as the agency account leader who establishes senior-level client relationships with several growing clients.
  • You’ll work directly with our partners on strategy development and execution as well as ensuring the proper nurturing and expansion of account relationships.
  • You’ll develop and lead client presentations working closely with our strategy and creative teams to meet client goals, objectives, and ROI.
  • You’ll interface with the internal Dotted Line team on planning and timelines.
  • You’ll develop marketing strategies and lead marketing planning on behalf of clients.
  • You’ll lead the day-to-day execution of campaigns and tactics, budgets, and schedules.
  • You’ll be transparent and authentic when communicating and collaborating with team members, partners, and clients.
  • You’ll create and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure we deliver what we promised to our clients.
  • You’ll manage a team of talented account and project managers; coaching, mentoring, and encouraging them to be strategic partners to our clients.

Account Director Desired Experience

  • Experience supporting a rapidly growing team
  • Solid reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to exhibit a client service approach with results-driven performance
  • Ability to work with varying levels within an organization
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Analytic and proactive thinker with a self-starter personality
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • At least 10 years of equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
