Job Overview: This position is responsible for the daily operations of lease facilities in order to minimize expenses and downtime and maximize production.

Essential Functions:

• Perform operation check of assigned wells and related equipment and facilities daily
• Ensure all equipment is maintained according to company compliance and integrity standards
• Notify supervisor of required maintenance to be carried out by external service providers
• Supervise contractors providing repairs and maintenance to equipment
• Ensure accuracy of run tickets by checking gauges and tests; enter gauges, tests and production on a daily basis into Scout
• Help maintain compliance with federal and state regulatory, environmental and safety regulations
• Maintain positive relationship with surface owners as well as local, state and federal representatives
• Identify areas for continuous improvement to well site facilities
• Provide all necessary reports to supervisors as scheduled and upon request
• Ensure that procedures for the safe execution of tasks are in place and adhered to
• Work with production and engineering teams to control costs related to well sites and facilities
• Participate in company safety programs and training
• Responsibility and authority to stop unsafe work on company locations

Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• At least 5 years of experience operating horizontal wells, preferably in the Midland Basin
• Acquainted with all well site and production equipment, compressors, systems and process control systems
• Ability to trouble shoot wellsite equipment and tank batteries when equipment is not functioning properly or efficiently
• Quick and accurate data entry skills are required
• Must take initiative to independently solve problems when able and report unresolved problems to supervisor
• Must be accountable for well sites included on assigned route
• Communicate clearly to other employees, supervisors and external parties
• Basic to Intermediate proficiency operating a computer, including Microsoft Outlook and Scout production software
• Basic math skills
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

Schedule: This is a full-time position and typical work hours are 10 hours per day. The schedule for this position consists of 10 days on and 4 days off. Weekend and holiday work may be required.
