Responsibilities
•Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to identify and secure new catering opportunities.
•Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to continuously expand and enhance our catering services.
•Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast
•Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives
•Formulate sales strategies that sustain high levels of occupancy and profitability in collaboration with department managers and their goals
•Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network
Qualifications
•Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
•Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills
•5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality field, is required
•This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
•Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
