Position Summary: The Bellperson/Shuttle driver is responsible for greeting guests in a courteous and efficient manner, assuring guest arrive at destination safely.

Essential Functions
  • Assists with luggage to and from guestrooms.
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
  • Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel.
  • Answer guest inquires about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner.
  • Delivers messages and runs errands.
  • Delivers items such as packages, faxes, luggage to guestrooms.
  • Provide travel directions and information on property events and promotions.
  • Obeys all traffic laws on and off property.
  • Greet arriving and departing guests. Opens passenger door(s) and offers assistance, if appropriate.
  • Complete scheduled shuttle runs as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service, forward-facing, or other guest related positions
  • Experience in the hospitality industry as a front desk agent, hotel receptionist or other guest services prefer
  • Current driver license and eligibility for insurance coverage
  • Must speak English fluently.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Problem solving, reasoning, and ability to multi-task and interact with people under pressure.
