Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop Training materials and content for a well-organized Training Program
  • Ensure training materials are formatted to a consistent design and quality and are regularly updated and revised
  • Presents training using various forms and formats including group discussion, presentations, videos, SOP’s, etc.
  • Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
  • Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, survey, and feedback
  • Train employees utilizing the Standard Work methodologies
  • Partner with Leadership to ensure that Standard Work is consistent with work requirement at Production Work Stations.
  • Partner with Zone Leaders to maintain Zone Training Charts
  • Assess training materials prepared by Production Trainers
  • Maintain Skills Matrix to track training needed and completed
  • Ensure Tier 2 quality data responsibility is up to date and countermeasures are proper implemented.
  • Guide Production Operators in the Continuous Improvement processes
  • Coordinate on-site and site-specific training programs for continuous training and new product introduction
  • Work closely with leadership team to drive growth development through Training Matrix
  • Performs other related duties as required.

  • Effective communication and collaboration with different levels of the organization to accomplish Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Participated in Operational Excellence initiatives such as 6S Representative, a record of effective CI entries, leading morning Tier Board meetings and a key contributor to past problem solving initiatives.
  • Have a record of proactive behavior in understanding the production schedule and the challenges it may present from a configuration standpoint and lead in corrective measures (?) on those configurations at the workstation level.

Candidate Requirements

  • High School diploma. Associates degree preferred.
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience with 1-2 years in a training role
  • Understanding of production process and methodology
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proven ability to build relationships across organizational departments

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, Flexible availability to work late or weekends if needed.
