Reporting to the Senior Production Supervisor, the Product Supervisor provides daily supervision and operational management for a heat treat production department/shift, comprised of approximately 8 to 10 hourly workers and a Production Lead. Shift hours are 5:00 pm to 5:00 am, with rotating weekends. Responsibilities include:

• coaching, training, staffing, and performance management for direct subordinates.
• creation and management of the production processing schedule and workflow for an assigned area, as well as the preparation of individual schedules.
• workforce planning and assistance in the recruitment process.
• assurance of quality specifications and guidelines.
• production updates regarding shift performance, equipment status, and maintenance issues.
• identifies efficiency and performance gaps; presenting and implementing a remediation plan.
• creates a cross training strategy/schedule to accommodate fluctuating labor shortages.
• monitors and enforces all appropriate safety guidelines, creating a culture of continuous awareness and compliance.
• plans and generates recipes/production documentation required for customer product.

The successful candidate will have:

• a High School education or equivalent.
• Five years experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• One to three years experience leading/supervising others.
• Microsoft Office Product competency.
