Job Summary

The Accounting Manager in the Corporate Accounting department oversees all aspects of the department including leading and overseeing all work, managing the Corporate Accounting team in all aspects including work performance and general administrative duties. The Accounting Manager in the Corporate Accounting department focuses on supporting the overall accounting processes, month end close, financial reporting, audits, A/P & A/R and ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of timely bank and GL reconciliations
• Manage Accounts Payable functions include and make sure bills are paid timely and accurately
• Oversee A/R functions, including processing receipts and collections on aged accounts
• Prepare Financial Statements and supporting schedules timely and accurately
• Make sure all journal entries are posted timely and accurately
• Perform ADHOC analysis and completes projects as needed
• Prepare clear and concise documentation of all work performed
• Completes all managerial administrative tasks for Corporate Accounting team
• Follow established processes and recommend improvements
• Other duties will be at the discretion of management.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7-10 years of experience in corporate accounting
• Proven leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and reconciliations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
