Down East Community Hospital is Hiring a Nursing Supervisor Near Calais, ME
- 36 hours, 12-hour shifts
- BSN or willing to obtain
- Day shift but must be willing to cover Weekends and/or nights.
- ED experience required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN Preferred
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Maine or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
- BCLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP within 6 months of hire
- Minimum 4 years acute care experience
- Demonstrates clinical proficiency in the age appropriate care of patients using the nursing process
- Demonstrates leadership skills with strengths in communications, organization, management of conflict and problem-solving
- Ability to function independently
- Ability to act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
