You will be responsible for driving safety, quality, production, and efficiency among your team.Here’s an overview of what you can expect to do while working here:Assisting in planning and supervising the maintenance of greens, tees, and fairwaysOverseeing production staff and ensuring the proper use of equipmentManaging all production staff work schedulesInstructing equipment operators on proper equipment handlingSupervising pesticide applications and/or operating and calibrating pesticide application equipmentOverseeing the irrigation team to ensure irrigation and drainage systems are operating effectivelyDriving safety culture across your production team through continuous training and leading by exampleBuilding strong relationships with your internal and external clientsEnsuring that the golf course that you oversee meets Down to Earth quality standardsEnsuring that timekeeping records are submitted in an accurate and timely manner.Counseling and developing members within your production teamProviding hands-on training for your new and tenured team members to ensure they are set up for successInterviewing, selecting and helping to onboard new team members and ensure each new team member has an excellent onboarding experiencePerforming other duties as assigned by the leadership teamRequirementsMinimum 2 years of golf course maintenance experience in a leadership role to include golf turf, fertilization and pest control, and irrigation oversight.Associates Degree in turf management or a related fieldExcellent communication skillsPreferred Skills & ExperienceBilingual in English and SpanishBenefitsThe well-being of our team members is important to us, and we want to ensure that you feel supported in your growth.
