- Play a pivotal role in optimizing reimbursement and tracking relevant data.
- Ensure compliance with revenue integrity requirements, including Physician Certification/Recertification and Denial letters.
- Chair revenue-related meetings and promptly respond to facility and regional team inquiries.
- Promote accurate IDT documentation and provide education to facility staff.
- Coordinate comprehensive care plans based on data collection and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in new MDS coordinator interviews, orientation, and ongoing education.
- Registered nurse with 3 years reimbursement or similar experience in the LTC industry (preferred).
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written, verbal, and technological communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing MDS and billing processes in the LTC setting.
- Ability to collaborate with IDT members at facility, regional, and corporate levels.
