## Job Summary
Growing Chicago-based defense firm seeks a highly motivated attorney to work in our Indianapolis offices. Must be licensed to practice in Indiana, Illinois is a plus. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years or experience in workers' compensation defense matters and/or a strong background in medical-related issues to handle in a varied and challenging caseload. ## Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Manage and oversee legal matters from inception to resolution

## Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the state bar association and in good standing
- Proven experience in handling a variety of legal matters
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in writing, negotiation, and legal analysis
- Familiarity with law office procedures and practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $82,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
